Company policy
Società Agricola Vivai Piante Baronti bases its operations on principles of sustainable growth, innovation, and quality. For over sixty years, the company has combined tradition and progress, continuously investing in cutting-edge technologies and responsible cultivation practices. The goal is to offer a reliable, carefully grown, and environmentally respectful product, with particular attention to traceability, reducing ecological impact, and the well-being of its workers.

Active commitment
The company policy translates into concrete actions: the use of eco-sustainable materials, efficient mechanization, internationally recognized certifications, and a digital logistics system that ensures transparency and control throughout the entire production chain. Every decision is aimed at continuous improvement, to deliver value both to the customer and the local area.

The use of chemical herbicides is minimized thanks to mulching materials applied to the pots.

Irrigation water is carefully collected, analyzed, and reintegrated into the production cycle.

The transition to sustainable agriculture relies heavily on the conscious selection of environmentally friendly phytosanitary products. The choice of active ingredients used on the farm is carefully evaluated to minimize the use of synthetic products, with their usage balance reported annually in ISO14001 reports.

Our commitment to reducing environmental impact starts with the choice of raw materials: for years, we have been cultivating plants in recycled pots that are also recyclable, allowing for easy disposal by the end consumer at home.

We are proud to share that our company has embarked on a full transition toward 100% peat-free cultivation.
After years of research, we are now able to guarantee plants grown entirely in peat-free substrates, sourced from renewable materials.

We are currently working closely with our suppliers to build a controlled supply chain where peat-free cultivation begins from the cutting stage and continues all the way to your stores.
The substrate material used is RHP and Fairtrade certified, ensuring high-quality products and the social sustainability of workers.
