This shrub can grow over two meters tall and develops rapidly. The ideal planting time is in autumn. It requires little maintenance, making it a low-demand plant; however, it is essential that it is planted in well-drained soil where water doesn’t stagnate, and in a sunny position. Buddleja enjoys watering especially during flowering, but suffers from stagnant moisture, particularly in colder months.

It is a deciduous species, highly resistant and generous in blooming. Its leaves are lance-shaped, medium to dark green, with a silvery underside that gives the plant a slightly shimmering appearance. With proper care, it takes on a rounded shape with arching branches. Flowering occurs on new branches from summer onwards, producing intensely fragrant blooms.

Buddleja is an evergreen shrub with slightly arching branches, known for its fast growth and compact, resilient structure, capable of withstanding even harsh temperatures.
